The Brief
Our client, a leader in the financial services sector, was looking to migrate 6 of its current UK offices to 2 hubs. One of these hubs was the Halo building in Kilmarnock, an urban regeneration project and BREAAM excellent rated building, which would serve as a new operational hub and contact centre. Magenta were contracted to deliver a Cat B fitout, implementing activity-based working and maintaining a strong focus on sustainability.

BREEAM & SUSTAINABLE INTERIORS
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a UK-established standard for sustainable built environments. As the project was based in a BREEAM-excellent rated building, recognizing sustainability throughout the build was an important factor. To manage this, Magenta compiled a comprehensive sustainability report providing a detailed breakdown of design elements, including responsible sourcing of suppliers, materials and processes to minimize the footprint of the build and manage waste responsibly
